Mode selected in Esade's choice of best start-ups at MWC 2023

Mode was selected in Esade’s Choice for Best Start-Up at MWC 2023, receiving recognition for impact, innovation, and scalability.

MWC Barcelona is one of the largest and most attended mobile communications conferences held in Barcelona. Our team had the opportunity of showcasing Mode at the 36^th annual show which hosted over 88,000+attendees! The event is not only an excellent networking opportunity for professionals within the communication and connectivity space, but also provides insight on the latest and most promising businesses in the tech industry. Mode was proud to be exhibiting in MWC’s 4 Years From Now (4YFN), an area dedicated to start-up businesses to connect with customers, other emerging businesses and investors.

One of the events held during the 4-day conference was Esade’s Choice for Best Start-Up at 4FYN. Esade is a leading business school in Barcelona that aims to develop a new generation of leaders through a holistic learning approach. The goal of the competition was to recognize the best start-ups based on the criteria of impact, innovation, and scalability, with the judging panel consisting of Esade’s MSc in Innovation and Entrepreneurship students, leading start-up consultants from Deloitte, and members of the 4YFN team.

Esade students are given the opportunity to exercise their master’s degree knowledge when making their finalists decisions while recognizing new start-ups. Mode was thrilled to be chosen as one of these finalists amongst hundreds of incredible start-ups showcasing at the event. It was a rewarding experience, not only because we were selected as a finalist, but also to be included with a group of inspiring global companies that were presenting innovative ways to address modern challenges with technology.
